Never did I imagine that my 7 year-old son's fall on our icy driveway would be the beginning of a physical transformation for me.

I met Dr. Joseph Fodero in the emergency room of Morristown Memorial Hospital when he stitched up a cut on my son's chin that he received from a fall on our icy driveway. From the beginning I was greatly impressed by Dr. Fodero's demeanor and bedside manner with my son. My son's injury was a minor injury, but we were treated extremely well.

On our last follow up visit for my son, I asked Dr. Fodero if he could do anything about the skin discoloration on my jawline. He suggested micro-dermabrasion. I decided to give it a try, and I received great results. After six treatments, my skin has never looked better. Many of the small imperfections on the surface are gone and I do not need to try to cover up discolorations with makeup anymore.

During one of my sessions, I asked for a consultation about having some liposuction done on my abdomen and possible breast lift. During my consultation, Dr. Fodero explained all that he could do for me. Since I had breast implants 15 years earlier, I was somewhat familiar with the procedures we discussed. I decided to go ahead with all of the procedures he suggested. I had a breast lift, abdominoplasty and tummy tuck; and liposuction on my back, abdomen, legs and buttocks.

This was a major surgery that was accomplished at one time. My recuperation was short and I was back to work in 5 days. I lost a total of 20 pounds and went from a size 8/10 to size 4. Although I still scars, they are fading rapidly. I have finally corrected those problem areas that always bothered me. Even though I was not grossly overweight, I was never happy with the way I looked and I could never lose the weight in the problem areas. I am now extremely happy with the way my body looks.

Dr. Fodero was able to re-shape my body to the way it was when I was in my 20's. The results are much better than I ever expected. I would recommend him to anyone contemplating plastic surgery.
